Why can’t I connect/sync the registered biometric unit?

1. Why can’t I connect/sync the registered biometric unit?

- Check if the biometric unit and mobile phone connection are on the same network.

- Check if the IP address of biometric unit you inputted is correct.

To check the IP Address on the biometric unit here are the steps.

For LAN (Local Area Network) / Wired Devices

Step 1: Press [M/OK].

Step 2: On Main menu, Select Comm.

Step 3: Select Ethernet, and you will see IP Address.

Step 4: Press back when done editing the IP Address. Configuration wil be automatically saved.

For Wireless Network (WLAN) Devices

Step 1: Press [M/OK].

Step 2: On Main menu, Select Comm.

Step 3: Select Wireless Network, Select the SSID/WiFi you are connected, and you will see IP Address.

Step 4: Press back when done editing the IP Address. Configuration will be automatically saved.

 

Note:

-DHCP or Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, is used to dynamically allocate IP addresses for biometric unit via server. If DHCP is enabled, IP cannot be set manually.
